Free Book: Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Since I’m a frequent reader of Entangled Publishing’s books, I signed up for their Steals and Deals newsletter a few months back and in their latest email newsletter, I  discovered they are offering Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout for free right now.  If interested, you can sign up for the Steals and Deals newsletter here: http://bit.ly/stealsdealsnews  It’s a great opportunity to get a heads up on their book sales from all of their publishing lines, such as Covets, Indulgences, Bliss, Brazen and Entangled Teen.

Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring…. until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don’t kill him first, that is.

Discussion 2

Ms. Armentrout is on my list of authors to read, but I haven’t had a chance to do so yet. I have downloaded Obsidian and plan to read this in the near future. If you’ve read the book or any others by Armentrout, I’d like to get your reactions and feedback to help me in know what to expect.
